7 Days in Paradise - Exumas Bahamas Yacht Charter

Imagine pristine deserted islands surrounded by crystal clear waters and incredible marine life. Are you ready for paradise? Are you ready for The Exumas?

Day 1 Depart Nassau – Norman’s Cay

Norman’s Cay is a small Bahamian island, south east of Nassau and is our first destination in the Exuma island chain. The island served as the headquarters for Carlos Lehder’s drug-smuggling operation from 1978 to around 1982. Here we will snorkel the wreck of the drug dealers airplane and enjoy some relaxing island time. This is also a hot spot for kite surfers.

Day 2 Norman’s Cay – Warderick Wells

The Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park is famous for its pristine beauty, outstanding anchorages and breathtaking marine environment. After arrival in the headquarters of the National Park, we can hike the Boo Boo Hill trail or you can choose to relax and enjoy the scenery in front of a huge sperm whale skeleton. Here there is also a great opportunity to swim with the beautiful spotted eagelrays on a stunning reef.

Day 3 Warderick Wells – Compass Cay – Staniel Cay

On our way to Staniel Cay we will stop in Compass Cay, which is well known for it’s clear water making boats appear to be floating on air. Extraordinarily beautiful and one of the best places on earth to sit back and relax. This is another beautiful destination to spot plenty of nurse sharks and relax on the white sand banks with an ice-cold drink in your hand. In the afternoon we will sail for around 3 hours to Staniel Cay where we will spend the night. Tonight you have the opportunity to dine out and enjoy a simply delicious mix of Bahamian and Continental cuisine at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club Restaurant.

Day 4 Staniel Cay

Staniel Cay has a lot to offer. Like in all our destinations you can explore crystal-clear waters, pristine reefs, deserted islands and white-sand beaches with your own skiff. The many secluded beaches, coves and isles surrounding Staniel Cay are a perfect setting for numerous activities. At the Staniel Cay Yacht Club, you can visit the little shop, rent golf cars and explore the island itself. We are going to take you to the Thunderball Grotto featured in the James Bond movie, Thunderball. Finally we will of course spend some time at Big Major’s Spot home of the famous swimming pigs.

Day 5 Staniel Cay – Bell Island – Hawksbill Cay

On our way to Hawksbill Cay we will pass Johnny Depp’s Island and stop at Bell Island, to snorkel at one of the most amazing reefs, which is named ‘The Aquarium’ for a reason. Hawksbill Cay is an unihabitaded cay and has numerous soft sand beaches, amazing harbors and bays to offer.

Day 6 Hawksbill Cay – Highbourne Cay

Highbourne’s eight beaches, deserted pieces of paradise all within walking distance of the Marina, are among the best kept secrets in The Bahamas. To explore the island on land you can rent golf cars and you may also want to dine in one of the best restaurants of the Exumas.

Day 7 Highbourne Cay – Rose Island

Our last big sail will take around 4 hours to Rose Island. Rose Island is a small island in the Bahamas, which is situated 3 miles before Nassau. We enjoy our last day's activities here snorkeling. An incredible sunset with the Atlantis Hotel in the horizon is guaranteed.

Day 8 Rose Island – Nassau

On our last day we will sail back to Nassau, where sadly it will be time to say goodbye to paradise, Catamaran Delicia and your crew. We hope we will instead be saying see you again soon.

All itineraries are weather dependent and for safety all routes are flexible, we thank you very much for your understanding.
