Crystal clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand beaches make the Bahamas a postcard-perfect vacation destination no matter the season. The weather is nearly perfect all year-round with averages of 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit. So what time of year should you book your dream getaway? Before you decide, read this short breakdown that takes into account popularity, weather, and special events during each season.

June-November

This is the off-season for the Bahamas. The official hurricane season runs from June 1 until November 30th with peak months during August, September, and October.  But don’t let this ‘rain on your parade’ because in reality, storms and hurricanes are fairly infrequent. There are also benefits to traveling during the off-season such as fewer crowds and less expensive accommodations and flights. The sweet spot of these off-season months is June for the best weather, prices, and fewer crowds.
